Chris Chaney
Chris Chaney, CEPA

Vice President & Financial Advisor, Fort Pitt Capital

Chris has dedicated his financial advisory career to helping clients realize their financial goals by developing proficiency in portfolio analysis, business transfer planning, charitable giving, and estate planning. As a Certified Exit Planner, Chris is specially trained to create plans for business owners that will address their business, financial, and personal challenges and provide them with a clear path to an optimal outcome. Chris values Fort Pitt Capital Group’s culture and mission and its commitment to doing what is best for clients.

Chris has been advising clients since 1996. Before joining Fort Pitt Capital Group, he worked as a wealth management advisor with other banking institutions.

Chris has been active in his church and currently serves as a member of his church’s parish council.  He actively supports and is involved with a variety of non-profits.  He is also a board member of the Light of Life Rescue Mission and has worked with several nonprofit organizations, including Duquesne University, the University of Pittsburgh, and the University of Michigan. He is a past member of the Pittsburgh Planned Giving Council and the Estate Planning Council.

Chris lives in Mt. Lebanon.  In addition to his commitment to his faith, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, going to the gym, working through a growing stack of books and audio books as part of his insatiable desire to learn, relaxing with a fine pinot noir, and looking for blue skies and sunshine wherever he can find them.

With a strong foundation in financial planning and retirement counseling, he provides holistic and personalized guidance to help individuals and their families achieve financial security and peace of mind.

With a successful tenure in both the wirehouse and banking channels, Paul brings experience in wealth management, investment strategies, and financial advisory services.

Paul serves on the board of the Regent Square Civic Association, engaging local residents and businesses by organizing events and advocating for community interests.

Outside of work, Paul enjoys cooking, hiking, golfing, and spending time with his wife and English bulldog, Murphy.
